The UConn Dermatology Program participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). Applications will only be reviewed if the applicant is enrolled in these 2 programs. Applicants are required to register with these two organizations: http://www.aamc.org/students/eras/ & http://www.nrmp.org/
- Applications must be received through ERAS no later than Friday, November 7, 2008 for review and consideration for interviews. If selected for an interview, you will be contacted by the Residency Coordinator (only), by e-mail or phone.
- We will be holding interviews in January 2009 for PGY 2 residents entering July 2010.
- We match 2 (two) residents per year.

Application and Interview Process Application to the University of Connecticut Dermatology Residency Program will only be via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) http://www.aamc.org/students/eras/. The applicant should check the appropriate boxes on the ERAS application form accordingly.
The following are all required as part of your application.
- an official medical school transcript
- three (3) letters of recommendation
- personal statement
- Medical School Performance Evaluations
- USMLE examination scores (Parts 1 & 2; all parts passed on first attempt)
- Only J-1 visas are accepted by The University of Connecticut School of Medicine for those candidates who are not permanent residents.
