The mission of our Dermatology Department is to:
- Deliver the highest quality of clinical and ethical medical and surgical dermatology care
- Interpret the pathology of skin lesions with accuracy and in a timely manner to better serve our referring physicians
- Treat our patients with respect and sensitivity
- Teach our skills to the next generation of physicians
- Participate in clinical research and collaborate with basic scientists in the pursuit of greater understanding of skin diseases and how they emotionally and physically impact a person
- Create an academic environment based on integrity, camaraderie, intellectual exchange and a constructive optimistic point of view
- Attend and participate in medical education programs to remain aware of the most advanced therapeutic modalities
