Brief Biosketch:
Dr. Taxel is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Connecticut Health Center. She specializes in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis in older men and women. Her research interest is focused on understanding hormonal influences on bone metabolism in this population.
