Educational Goals:

Each year of training reflects a continuum of graduated experiences and responsibilities. The program emphasizes growth each year in all the core competencies, including medical knowledge, patient care, professionalism, interpersonal skills and communication, practice-based learning and improvement, and systems-based practices. Residents must become familiar with the six competencies of training and understand the goals & objectives of each competency as they relate to a particular year of training.
