The division of Urogynecology consists of two board certified Urogynecologists who are actively involved with resident teaching from lecturing to hands-on OR teaching. As a fourth year resident in the Urogynecology rotation, the resident is responsible for all aspects of patient care from specialty clinic visits, first assisting on cases, pre and post operative care, and running the service. Cases include but are not limited to Urinary Incontinence, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Vaginal Surgery, Laparoscopic Reconstructive Surgery, Urinary Tract Infections, Urodynamics, Biofeedback therapy, and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery. Since the division has been booming with a large amount of cases, it is actively seeking a third Urogynecologist at this time. A three year Urogynecology fellowship will be starting as of July 1st, 2005.
