The administrative responsibility for the Integrated Residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery rests ultimately with the Program Director of the Division of Otolaryngology, in the Department of Surgery at the University of Connecticut. For the resident training, the line of administrative authority runs from the Program Director to the Site Directors, to the Administrative Chief Residents and then to the PGY-IV, PGY-III, PGY-II.

Clinical issues that relate to a particular site are the responsibility of the Site Directors at each institution. The responsibility for individual patient care decisions rests with the physician of record.
