The University of Connecticut Health Center established the Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery residency training program in 1975. We offer a well balanced, comprehensive exposure to all aspects of otolaryngology - head and neck surgery, including: general otolaryngology, head and neck surgical oncology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, otology and neurotology, pediatric otolaryngology, laryngology and voice disorders and facial trauma.
We have two positions that we fill each year through the Otolaryngology Match Program. The two applicants who match with our Program will automatically have a place in the University of Connecticut’s Integrated General Surgical Residency Program and, therefore, do not have to apply separately through the general surgery match program. |

Our program utilizes the combined resources of the University Health Center, with its full-time faculty and research facilities, as well as four other affiliated institutions. This assures exposure to a large volume and variety of clinical experience in combination with essential academic activities, including dedicated time for research.
