The Division of Nephrology has an active outpatient service at Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Consultation service is provided for inpatient services and for community hospitals and pediatricians throughout the state. Activities of the division include dialysis, kidney biopsy, and the follow up of children with renaltransplantation. Other Division activities include conferences, one-to-one teaching during consultations to the various services, and both clinical and research electives. Research interests of the division include hypertension, Henoch-Scholein-Purpura, and urinary tract infections.
