The clinical activities of the Division of Allergy/Immunology take place in the private offices of Pediatric Allergy Associates and at Connecticut Children's Medical Center. The focus is on diagnosis and treatment of children with asthma, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, and insect, drug, and food allergies. Active research interests in the division include penicillin and other antibiotic allergies, and evaluation of new drugs for asthma and allergic diseases.

Residents work with members of the division during their service rotations, while involved with the disabled and handicapped child curriculum, and during electives in this area.
