Application Information

All applications are process through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).  Applications are processed from October and accepted through December 15th.  All applications are reviewed and should include: 1) a completed ERAS application 2) a personal statement 3) medical school transcript 4) Dean’s letter 5) USMLE parts 1 and 2 or Comlex levels 1 and 2. 6) Three current letters of recommendation.

Interviews are by invitation only.  Once the application is complete and reviewed, selected candidates will be invited by letter or email and will be asked to call to schedule an interview date.  Interviews are scheduled beginning in October and through the end of January.

The interview day begins at 8:00 am with a light breakfast.  The interview process begins at 8:30 am at which time candidates will meet with the Chairman, Program Director, Associate Program Director and various members of the faculty.  Applicants will have an opportunity to speak with radiology residents and tour the radiology department through the day.  Lunch will be served at which time the applicant will have an opportunity to meet informally with our residents and with members of the faculty.  A formal presentation by the residents of the program and Hartford and surrounding areas will be given at 1:00 pm and the day will conclude at approximately 2:00 pm.
