Welcome Letter

dr. moskowitz

Welcome to the University of Connecticut / St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center Radiology Residency Program.  I hope you will find this site helpful in answering the many questions that you have about our residency.  We believe our program is special and unique and offers exceptional opportunities for our residents to grow and develop into competent radiologists.

Our program is an ACGME accredited four year program based primarily at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, CT and St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT.  Rotations at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) are also part of the program.

We accept two residents each year who receive their training in all subspecialty areas under the direction of an outstanding faculty.  Academic endeavors include daily conferences, a core didactic lecture series, interdepartmental conferences, monthly journal clubs and monthly grand rounds.  The resident’s experience is extensive and they are involved in all phases of radiology at each institution.

This website outlines the radiology curriculum, sample schedules, information about the University of Connecticut Health Center, the Hartford area, as well as answers to the questions most frequently asked by applicants. Our program is designed to provide a complete and comprehensive education in radiology that will allow you to follow whatever career path in radiology you choose.

We appreciate your interest in our program and look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Harold Moskowitz, M.D., FACR
Program Director
