Research is encouraged in the department. Clinical research involving new diagnostic techniques for delineation of disease is an ongoing project. Built into our schedule is protected time for the resident to do research and there is defined elective time. This occurs during the resident’s third and fourth years. Following are some of the papers and posters presented and published during the past several years.
